Which beach in Aruba has the calmest water?

Arashi Beach A nice quiet and relaxing beach with calm water, white sand, palapas & huts, a snack shack, and a large parking lot. The calm currents and plentiful underwater marine life make this beach a perfect spot for snorkeling and a favorite with locals.

Baby Beach, located on the southeastern tip of Aruba near San Nicolas, is widely considered to have the calmest water on the island. This is because the beach is situated within a shallow, man-made lagoon protected by a natural breakwater of coral reefs and rocks, which blocks the Caribbean waves almost entirely. The water is rarely more than waist-deep for a significant distance from the shore, making it feel more like a giant swimming pool than the open ocean. It is a favorite for families with small children and nervous swimmers. Other honorable mentions for calm water include Palm Beach, where the high-rise hotels are located, and Arashi Beach, though both can experience occasional swells. For the ultimate "still" water experience with virtually no current or waves, Baby Beach remains the top choice, though visitors should be careful not to swim past the lagoon's opening into the open ocean, where the currents become extremely dangerous and powerful.
