The castle at Walt Disney World (Cinderella Castle) is significantly bigger than the one at Disneyland (Sleeping Beauty Castle). In 2026, Cinderella Castle in Florida stands at 189 feet tall, making it more than twice the height of the original in California. Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle is a more intimate, "charming" structure, standing at only 77 feet. The Florida version was built on a much larger scale to act as a "weenie" (a visual magnet) that can be seen from across the Seven Seas Lagoon. Inside Cinderella Castle, there is enough room for a full-service restaurant (Cinderella's Royal Table), a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and the ultra-exclusive Cinderella Castle Suite. In contrast, the Disneyland castle only contains a small, walk-through attraction featuring dioramas of the Sleeping Beauty story. While Disneyland's castle is cherished for its historical significance as the only one Walt Disney personally oversaw, Disney World's castle is undeniably the grander architectural achievement in terms of pure size.
