Animal Kingdom tends to be the park that needs the least amount of time to visit, but you could spend the back half of that day at Downtown Disney, which wouldn't use the hopper. Magic Kingdom is the main attraction and with it's high concentration of rides, I would recommend more time there than the other parks.

So yes, it's entirely possible to visit four Disney parks in one day, even with kids in tow. All you need is a hopper ticket and a lot of enthusiasm. My boys have the latter in spades. Sometimes, we'll take a resort break and then head back to Magic Kingdom if we want to cross a few more must-do attractions off our list. If I had to assign a length of time to this approach, I'd say that planning on a solid twelve hours should allow you to experience most of the attractions.
