Which is better Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios Park Paris?

Disneyland Park is where you'll want to spend most of your time. It has the fairytale castle, classic characters, and plenty of rides and attractions. Walt Disney Studios Park is much smaller and is one of Disney's weaker parks.

For the "quintessential" Disney experience, Disneyland Park is widely considered the better of the two. It is the larger, more traditional "castle park" featuring the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, classic lands like Fantasyland and Adventureland, and the famous nightly fireworks and parades. It has a significantly higher number of rides and is more "storybook" in its atmosphere. However, Walt Disney Studios Park (recently rebranded as Disney Adventure World) has become the "better" park for fans of modern franchises and thrills. It is home to Avengers Campus and Worlds of Pixar, featuring high-intensity rides like "Crush’s Coaster" and the "Twilight Zone Tower of Terror." While the Studios park was historically criticized for being smaller and less detailed, the massive ongoing multi-year expansion—including the addition of a huge lake and the World of Frozen—is rapidly closing the gap. Most visitors in 2026 opt for a "Park Hopper" ticket to experience the classic magic of the main park and the modern thrills of the Studios in a single trip.
