You can get away with 3 days if you're in a rush, you would be able to visit Baku, and the Gobustan Natinal park (the UNESCO world heritage site home to the mud volcanoes). You could also spend 2 weeks and see the whole country! Personally, though, I think 5 nights is the perfect amount of time to spend in Azerbaijan.
Georgia is a small country with a population of around 3.7 million – but it's jam-packed with man-made and natural beauty. Think stone-carved cities with autumn-red roofs, dotted with trees and flanked by epic fortresses like Narikala Fortress in Tbilisi.
The best period for going to Georgia is from May to October. The temperatures are pleasant, and the weather is generally sunny, whereas winter is much colder. You should chose to go in September/October if you want to see the grape harvest in Kakheti.

Don't bring anything Armenian into the countryThe conflict has developed a strong sense of suspicion on both sides. Visitors with an Armenian stamp in their passport might be questioned by immigration officers. Those caught bringing goods from the country-that-can't-be-named may even be refused entry.
