Which part of Lanzarote is warmest in winter?

All of our villas are located in and around the resort of Playa Blanca and this is the warmest part of the island. Playa Blanca sits right at the southern tip of Lanzarote and even though the island is small, there's a marked difference in temperatures between north and south, especially during the winter months.

Tenerife is slightly cooler at this time of the year, with an average temperature of 16°C. If you want to swim in the sea, the water is still a reasonably cool 18°C.

Since the islands sit further south than the Canary Islands, temperatures are even hotter. Yet, just like all islands, there is a rainy season and for Cape Verde, this is in April. If wall-to-wall sunshine is what you are after, then the best time to visit the islands is between June and November.

Puerto del Carmen has the busiest vibe and that incredible long Strip. Costa Teguise has a more laid back, surfy feel, and feels more Spanish, as well as being more compact. Playa Blanca is quieter than either and feels a little more upmarket, but it's very spread out.
