The AquaTheater, a high-dive and synchronized swimming amphitheater located at the stern of the ship, is an exclusive feature of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis-class vessels. As of 2026, the ships featuring this spectacular venue include the original Oasis of the Seas, along with Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas, and the newest addition, Utopia of the Seas. The theater features a deep pool with a moving floor, 30-foot diving platforms, and high-wire "slacklining" acts that perform against the backdrop of the open ocean. On the newer Icon-class ships (like Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas), the AquaTheater concept has been evolved into the "AquaDome," a massive enclosed glass dome at the front of the ship. This allows for similar water-based spectacles but protects the performers and the audience from the wind and rain, ensuring the "show goes on" regardless of the weather conditions in the Caribbean or Mediterranean.
