How to Get There. Diagon Alley is located in the very back of the Universal Studios Orlando theme park. The entrance to the area isn't marked, but you'll know you're close when it looks like you've arrived in London. There's a big sign announcing King's Cross Station, and a red British phone box sits just outside.

Starting in either park guarantees you a great day — obviously, you're at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you really can't go wrong — but we recommend starting at Hogsmeade, catching the train over to Diagon Alley mid-day, and then coming back to Hogsmeade to finish the night.

You can only access this attraction if you have a park-to-park ticket, though! In my opinion, you can absolutely fit everything you want to do in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in one day, even without Express Passes. You just need to be strategic about your itinerary!

Felt like we were definitely in wizarding world. If you want to see all of Harry Potter at Universal, you'll need to buy tickets for both parks (and that's the only way to ride the Hogwarts Express). Makes it very expensive, but we felt it was worth it after having enjoyed it. Absolutely awesome!

It really doesn't matter which one you start at, honestly. I tend to feel like most people head to IOA first thing in the morning, because it is a straight shot from the parking garage. I would maybe just hop around both parks on both days, and play it by the crowds. There are great attractions at both parks.

The main differences between Disney vs. The first is that Universal tends to focus more on thrilling rides. It has massive roller coasters that far exceed anything Disney has to offer, especially because Disney focuses on more family-friendly attractions.

As you can guess if Saturday and Monday tend to be the busiest, Tuesday tends to be the best day to visit Universal Studios Orlando. We also find Thursday to be one of the least busy days of the week at Universal Studios, with Sunday being a great weekend option.

However, the Universal Studios age recommendation is a fairly mature 8 years-old. If they're younger they probably won't be able to appreciate much of the entertainment or be able to go on many rides, but families do have a fun experience when taking a trip together.

Rides at Universal Studios Orlando for 4-year-old & 5-year old. The cutest age to go to Universal in my opinion. My barely 4-year-old son rode all the rides below as they have a height limit of 40? or 42?, plus all the other rides with lower limits. Some rides are more intense than others.
