Which terminal is the MRT in at Changi?

The Changi Airport MRT Station is located at the basement of Terminals 2 and 3. It is accessible from the Arrival and Departure Halls of these two terminals and there are escalators and lifts to connect you to the station entrance.

The Changi Airport MRT station (CG2) is located underground between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. It is directly accessible via pedestrian linkways from both arrival halls. If you land at Terminal 1, you must take the complimentary Skytrain to either Terminal 2 or 3 to reach the station. For those landing at the newer Terminal 4, you must take a shuttle bus to Terminal 2 first, as T4 is not physically connected to the main terminal complex or the MRT. In 2026, clear signage marked "Train to City" guides you from the baggage claim of T2 and T3 down a series of escalators to the station. This station is part of the East-West Line; most travelers heading to the city center will need to take the train for two stops and change at Tanah Merah station to catch the westbound train toward the CBD and Orchard Road.

The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) station at Changi Airport is Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2). It’s located in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

Here’s a quick guide:

  • Terminal 2: The station is directly accessible from the Arrival Hall (basement level).
  • Terminal 3: You can reach the station via a skytrain or an underground pedestrian link from the Arrival Hall.
  • Terminal 1: To get to the MRT, take the free skytrain to Terminal 2 or Terminal 3.
  • Terminal 4: Take the free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 or Terminal 3, then proceed to the MRT station.

Important Note: The station is on the East-West Line (Green Line). To travel to/from the city center (like Raffles Place, City Hall), you will need to transfer at Tanah Merah Station.

In summary: Go to Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 to find the Changi Airport MRT Station.
