But we didn't stay at just any old hotel: we stayed at the most expensive hotel on Universal property — Loews Portofino Bay. So come with us to see what staying in such a swanky hotel is like!
Vacation Like a Star™Lounge in a poolside cabana, float down our lazy river, or get active with water sports, the trampoline park, tennis courts, and more.
Whether you like to play indoors or out, Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort has plenty of fun in store for everyone. Outside you'll find two massive, sand beach swimming pools, one complete with a dive tower-themed water slide, the other adjacent to a relaxing lazy river.
Royal Pacific Resort is the lowest priced premier hotel but by no means is it inexpensive. If you can find a night here for under $250 during slower season, then you win resort lottery. The rooms are slightly lower quality than other two premier resorts with some guests complaining about small rooms.
Does Endless Summer have a lazy river? Endless Summer resort at Universal Orlando does not have a lazy river like the nearby Universal Orlando hotel Cabana Bay Beach Resort. However both the Endless Summer Dockside or Surfside offer a beachside resort style pool which features small splash pads for the kids.
The last method of transportation is also the oldest mode of transportation… by foot! All of our hotels offer a connecting walking path that takes you from one hotel to another or to CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure.
The Lazy River is the best way to relax and have fun in the sun. On the rare occasion there is no sun (our entire trip last week), rest assured, the Lazy River is heated and ready to party.
