Traveling between Universal Orlando and the Disney World Resort isn't too terribly complicated or too terribly far. In fact, the two major vacation destinations are just 9 miles apart and only about 15 minutes by car.
Jurassic Parks drop is more intense, and way more scary! Most of the drop is in the dark, so it feels really long. The drop in Splash is like 2 seconds, and is nowhere near as bad as in steepness or height.
Most people would say 6-7 hours is the average time needed to see the best of Universal Studios, so pretty much one full day. You could certainly spend multiple days there seeing all the theme park has to offer but 6-7 hours should cover the main sights and experiences to get through that you are interested in.
From blockbuster, thrill rides to shows that light up the night, there's something for everyone, and I would recommend going. Just make sure to do some research and plan your trip, especially if it's as packed as it was for us!
