Line A of the RER system terminates at Marne-la-Vallee station which is next to the front gates of Disney Village and the theme parks at Disneyland Paris. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Every morning the trains are full of families travelling from Paris to Disneyland.
The short answer is yes, but it will take careful planning and a lot of walking. Here are some tips and tricks for making the most of your one-day visit to Disneyland Paris.
Ideally, we'd recommend three full days. Two days for Disneyland Park and its five magical themed lands, one day for Walt Disney Studios Park and its four action-packed zones.
You can get to Chatelet station from most of the Paris Metro lines (it's only four stops from Gare du Nord), and once at Marnelle-Vallee/Chessy station it's a two-minute walk to the park entrance. The trains run approximately every 15 minutes, from early in the morning until late at night.
Zones 1-3 allow you to travel within the city of Paris, i.e. within the limits marked in yellow on the map. With zones 4-5, you can travel throughout the Greater Paris region, and venture even further, to Disneyland Paris, for example, or to Versailles and its chateau, as well as to the Paris airports.
If you want to make the most of your day by avoiding visitor traffic at Disneyland, get up as early as possible. The park opens to the public at 10:00 am. You should keep that time in mind and arrive as early as you can to be among the first through the gates.
