Star Alliance, the world's largest global airline network, currently consists of 25 member airlines in 2026. The founding members are United Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Thai Airways, and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)—though note that SAS recently transitioned to SkyTeam. Other major global members include Singapore Airlines, ANA (All Nippon Airways), Air China, Air India, Turkish Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, and TAP Air Portugal. The alliance also includes regional powerhouses like Avianca (Latin America), Ethiopian Airlines and South African Airways (Africa), Egyptair, LOT Polish Airlines, Copa Airlines, Asiana Airlines, EVA Air, and Aegean Airlines. Additionally, the alliance has "Connecting Partners" like Juneyao Air and intermodal partners like Deutsche Bahn (German Rail), allowing passengers to earn miles and enjoy seamless transfers between planes and trains. Membership provides benefits like "Gold Track" security and access to over 1,000 lounges worldwide, making it the most comprehensive network for frequent flyers traveling to almost any corner of the globe.

  1. You present a boarding pass in International First Class on a Star Alliance member airline operated flight.
  2. Your flight departs on the same day of your visit or latest by 05.00 AM next morning.
  3. The lounge shows the Star Alliance Logo at the entrance.
