The very first group to board the ship, after any necessary Coast Guard or customs clearances, are guests who have reached the Diamond and Platinum levels of the VIFP (Very Important Fun Person) Club. Following closely are guests who have booked Grand Suites, as suite perks include priority embarkation. Additionally, passengers who have purchased the "Faster to the Fun" (FTTF) package—a limited-availability add-on—are granted early boarding privileges along with the high-tier loyalty members. These priority groups are followed by the general boarding population, which is organized into numbered "Boarding Groups" based on the arrival appointment selected during the online check-in process. The system is designed to minimize congestion at the terminal, ensuring that those who have invested the most in their cruise experience or reached elite status through frequent sailing receive a seamless, expedited start to their vacation.
