Who can access SWISS lounges?

Access to SWISS Lounges and partner Lounges worldwide is only available to passengers in certain booking classes and to status passengers of the Miles & More program.

Access to SWISS International Air Lines lounges—renowned for their Alpine-chic design and luxury amenities—is determined by a hierarchy of travel class and frequent flyer status. Passengers traveling in First Class or Business Class on SWISS, Lufthansa, or any Star Alliance member airline have automatic access. Additionally, elite members of the Miles & More program, including HON Circle members (who get exclusive First Class Lounge access), Senators, and Frequent Travellers, are eligible based on their status level. Star Alliance Gold members traveling in any class on a Star Alliance flight can also access SWISS Business lounges. In 2026, SWISS has also expanded its "Pay-per-Entry" options; passengers traveling on SWISS, Edelweiss, Lufthansa, or Austrian tickets can purchase a lounge voucher (starting at around 40–60 CHF) for the Business Lounges in Zurich and Geneva. However, access to the prestigious SWISS First Lounges remains strictly restricted to First Class passengers and HON Circle members and cannot be purchased. Each eligible traveler is usually permitted to bring one guest, provided the guest is departing on the same flight or a Star Alliance partner.
