Who owns CLEAR airport?

In 2010, Caryn and Ken Cornick acquired CLEAR out of bankruptcy and have grown it into a global company with 50+ airport locations, hundreds of partners, and more than 16 million verified users nationwide. Ken Cornick is the President, CFO, and Co-Founder of CLEAR.

CLEAR is not an airport itself but a secure identity platform operated by Clear Secure, Inc. (NYSE: YOU). The company is a publicly traded entity, so it is owned by its shareholders. However, its leadership and founding vision come from Caryn Seidman-Becker, who serves as Chairman and CEO, and Ken Cornick, the Co-Founder and President. They purchased the company out of bankruptcy in 2010 and have since expanded it into a global brand serving over 50 airports and numerous sports and entertainment venues. While the physical infrastructure of the airports remains government-owned or managed by local authorities, Clear Secure manages the biometric kiosks and private lanes that allow members to bypass traditional document checks by using their eyes or fingerprints for identity verification.
