Who owns Fly Jinnah?

Fly Jinnah or FJ is a first low-cost carrier (LCC) owned and operated jointly by Lakson Group of Pakistan and Air Arabia Group of the United Arab Emirates.

Fly Jinnah is owned and operated as a joint venture between two major entities: the Lakson Group of Pakistan and the Air Arabia Group of the United Arab Emirates. Launched in 2021 and starting operations in late 2022, the airline is Pakistan's first low-cost carrier (LCC) to follow the successful Air Arabia business model. As of 2026, the airline has significantly expanded its fleet of Airbus A320s, serving both domestic hubs like Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore, as well as an increasing number of international destinations in the Middle East and beyond. The partnership combines Lakson Group's deep local business expertise with Air Arabia’s decades of experience in the low-cost aviation sector, positioning Fly Jinnah as a major private competitor to Pakistan's national carrier, PIA.
