Who owns Shell Factory Fort Myers?

Welcome to the Shell Factory and Nature Park in North Fort Myers. Pam Cronin is the owner.

As of early 2026, the historic Shell Factory & Nature Park property in North Fort Myers has a new owner following its closure in late 2024. The 18-acre site was sold in January 2026 for approximately $3.9 million to Shell Factory LLC (also recorded as Shell NFM), a Florida-based company managed by Alexander Gulick and Vincent Godin and associated with the Boca Raton developer Procacci. For decades prior to this sale, the attraction was owned and revitalized by Tom and Pam Cronin, who purchased it in 1997 and transformed it into a local landmark with a nature park, retail shops, and a restaurant. Following Tom's passing and the rising costs of maintaining the aging infrastructure, Pam Cronin made the difficult decision to close the park. The new owners have indicated plans for redevelopment of the site, though final details on whether the "Shell Factory" name or any of its iconic elements will be preserved have not yet been announced.
