Why are LNER tickets not available?

Why can't I book my tickets yet? We're still finalising our timetable for future travel dates, so some tickets aren't on sale yet. Here you can create a ticket alert for the dates you want to travel and we'll let you know when the cheapest Advance tickets are available to buy.

Is Alcohol allowed onboard? You can buy alcohol from our Let's Eat Cafe Bar whilst onboard our trains and if you're in First Class, you can enjoy complimentary drinks. You can also bring your own alcohol onboard. In First Class complimentary alcohol is served from 11:30am (when available).

Why can't the Network Railcard be used before 10:00am Monday to Friday? The Network Railcard is designed to promote off-peak leisure travel. This means that it encourages people to use trains outside of the busy commuting period which occurs before 10:00am Monday to Friday.

If a train is cancelled (and that's what's happened here) you're entitled to take the next train that matches any restrictions on your ticket. So if your ticket is routed via a certain place, you must go that way, or if it's only valid on a certain train company, you must use that companies services.
