Why are my Disney PhotoPass photos not showing up?

Disney PhotoPass – Frequently Asked Questions If you are missing photos captured today, please allow up to 24 hours for your photos to appear in your Disney account. Expired photos will no longer be available in the system. Please see our Expiration Policy for further details.

There are several common reasons why your Disney PhotoPass photos might be missing from your "My Disney Experience" app in 2026. First, ensure that your MagicBand, MagicMobile pass, or physical card was correctly scanned by the photographer or at the end of the ride; sometimes a poor connection at the touchpoint prevents the link. Second, check the "Filter" settings in your gallery to ensure you haven't accidentally hidden specific dates or parks. Third, it can take up to 24 hours for all photos to process, especially those from high-tech rides like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind that involve video. If a photo is still missing after a day, you can use the "Missing Photos" form on the Disney website, where you provide the date, time, park location, and a description of what you were wearing; Disney's digital imaging team can often "manually" find your photo using facial recognition technology. Lastly, remember that photos expire 45 days after they are taken unless you have a Memory Maker package or an Annual Pass with a photo benefit, so download them promptly.
