Why cant you go on a roller coaster with a cast?

Most of the rides allow a leg cast. Some of the rollercoaster do not allow an arm cast because of safety reasons. You could accidentally hit the person sitting next to you. If they can ppstion you on the outside seat on the coaster so your arm is not able to hit anyone, then they will let you ride.

People Also Ask

The only casts that are not allowed are full leg casts (because they can't comfortably ride and because they can't bend their knee), or hard arm casts because they might bang against the person next to them. So, yes that person can ride.

It is safe to fly with a broken bone if it is properly set and secured. However, it is best not to fly at least 48 hours after the plaster cast has been applied. If you fly before this time, the cast will most likely be split in half to avoid swelling, compartment syndrome, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Where I work the rule goes like this, if the cast covers one joint it is okay, the rider still has flexibility to move their arm, leg, or whatever. But if it covers two joints, such as wrist and elbow, then the person can't ride. But it is always important to know your limitations, so you don't injure yourself worse.
