Back in 2020, Disney took over ownership of the Morocco Pavilion following a legal dispute with the pavilion's operators, who ran the food and merchandise outlets including Restaurant Marrakesh.

The Morocco Pavilion is a Moroccan-themed pavilion that is part of the World Showcase, within Epcot at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, United States. It was the first expansion pavilion to be added to World Showcase, opening on September 7, 1984.
Another interesting fact about Morocco is it's the only country that does not light up during Illuminations. We stopped into EPCOT today and saw that part of the scrim from the ongoing construction at the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase has been removed. We also noticed that they have shaped part of the roof of Gallery of the Arts and History building.
The final two “taco” barges have been removed from World Showcase Lagoon, signaling the end of Harmonious at EPCOT. Harmonious was originally designed to be a long-term replacement for Illuminations, but the unsightly hardware for the show proved to be its downfall.
Let's get one thing out of the way: there has never been a country that was removed from Epcot. All the countries that were originally there opening day — or added later on — remain in the park. The closest we get to a “removal” is perhaps Israel and Africa.

Morocco is known for its Medinas, which are cities' historical downtowns and the place to hunt for traditional handicrafts. All Moroccan handicrafts, like jewelry, rugs, leather items and teapots can be found in the Medina.
Spain PavilionThere also would have been an additional attraction as well as shopping and dining experiences. The market place would have featured both the new and old of Spain. The pavilion was never built because Disney was not able to find a sponsor. Efforts to sign on Spain has been tougher.
Also, this offers ride priorities for Lightning Lanes via Genie+ and not Individual Lightning Lanes (ILL), which are pay-per-ride. At present, the only ILL attraction for EPCOT is Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
