Why does Lake Nicaragua have sharks?

The sharks traveled from the ocean into Lake Nicaragua through the San Juan River. Bull sharks are famous for being unpredictable, aggressive for favoring shallow, warm water. Today, scientists claim that the Bull Shark population has been almost wiped out due to a shark-fin processing plant along the San Juan river.
