Why does Magic Kingdom close at 4 30 on Tuesdays?

As you may remember, Magic Kingdom is closing at 4:30pm on January 25, 2022. Now, Disney has added a second early closing to the calendar. According to Disney, Magic Kingdom will be closing at 4:30pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 as well. The early closures are to celebrate career milestones for Cast Members.

In general, you can expect Magic Kingdom to close between 9PM and 11PM most days. The park tends to stay open later during times when Disney expects crowds. BUT, there are days when Magic Kingdom closes as early as 6PM because of special events.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place from 7 pm until midnight on evenings when it's held. On MNSSHP dates, Magic Kingdom is open to regular guests from 8 am until 6 pm.
