Why does my Delta ticket say at gate?

Your gate is written on your boarding pass and you need to find the section written gate with the codes consisting of letters and numbers. This code is your gate number. To be able to locate your gate, you can follow the signs or screens at the airport.

This shouldn't cause a problem as passengers are expected to be at the gate 15-30 minutes before and should have boarded the plane at least 15 minutes ahead of the departure time. If you somehow don't make it onboard within these timeframes, the flight can absolutely leave without you.
