Yellowstone Regional Airport: Cody, WyomingThe Yellowstone Regional Airport is a great alternative for the Jackson Hole Airport. The airport in Cody, Wyoming is a 4 hour drive from Jackson.

I agree, Jackson. This way you are close to the Tetons, which you (hopefully) would have planned to see anyhow. I've flown into Bozeman twice, there isn't much to see there (although it's a college town and a good place to get a coffee or buy some music). It's a good 2 hour drive to the north entrance of Yellowstone.
Despite the somewhat remote location, it is surprisingly crowded, especially on weekends. And ESPECIALLY on powder days. And despite its abundance of advanced terrain the mountain is actually quite small. So unless you have just epic conditions you've kinda skied it all multiple times after a three-day trip.
Jackson Hole WY Ski Resort is open from Thanksgiving through early April for the winter season. Summer operations are open from late-May through September.
I had the same question before we went there. Yes, they are the same thing. Jackson is the name of the town and airport. Jackson is the town which is in a larger area called Jackson Hole.

Jackson Hole is the perfect place for celebs to support an active and healthy lifestyle. With close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and access to rivers, lakes, mountains, and valleys, visitors enjoy year-round outdoor activities to suit every ability and interest.
Consider Spring or FallJackson Hole is not just a summer destination or a winter ski town. Fall and spring each offer exciting activities and seasonal highlights with fewer crowds and lower lodging prices. Fall is a wonderful season to enjoy fly-fishing or hear the elk bugling.
