It has happened again, folks! The sale of Magic Key Passes has gone through quite the journey over the past few years. Passes went on sale in August of 2021, only to be paused in May 2022.
The reason you are not yet able to select a reservation for dates in November or December is it's still too early: Magic Key holders can reserve their preferred date and park subject to availability 90 days out.
A Pass will expire if it is not activated within one (1) year from the date of purchase, and upon expiration, such expired Pass may no longer be activated or have park reservations scheduled for it, and any existing park reservations for such Pass will be cancelled.
You do have up to 30 days after your pass has expired to complete your renewal process. If you do not renew during that window, you will not be able to purchase another pass until the sale of new Annual Passes has resumed.
