Will the dream key pass come back?

In August of 2022, the top-level Dream Key was replaced with the new Inspire Key. They are essentially the same, but the new key blocks out the busy Christmas holiday dates. The old Dream Key had no blocked-out dates.

In 2026, the specific "Dream Key" tier of the Disneyland Magic Key program has been officially phased out and replaced by the newer pass structure. As of January 2026, Disneyland has introduced the Explore Key, which joins the existing Inspire, Believe, and Imagine Keys. The Dream Key was the original top-tier pass with no blockout dates, but it was superseded by the Inspire Key, which functions similarly but includes blockout dates during the busy Christmas and New Year period. While the "Dream Key" name itself is unlikely to return in its original form, the Magic Key program remains very much active, with new sales and renewals occurring in limited windows throughout the year. For current 2026 travelers, the program is focusing on "Good-to-Go" days and refined reservation systems rather than reviving the specific branding used during the program's 2021 launch.
