Will Tron be an individual lightning lane?

TRON Lightcycle Run at Walt Disney World is the newest coaster you want to ride! You'll want to put it at the top of your must-do list for Magic Kingdom visits. Big tip for TRON Lightcycle Run: it is only experienced through a virtual queue boarding pass or an Individual Lightning Lane purchase.

Some attractions don't have Lightning Lanes (like Astro Orbiter and PeopleMover) and some attractions with Lightning Lanes aren't included in Genie+. At Magic Kingdom, TRON Lightcycle Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train have Lightning Lanes but are not a part of Genie+.

If you want to grab an Individual Lightning Lane for TRON, it'll cost you $20 on March 20th. You can buy the Lightning Lane through the My Disney Experience app. What a cool design! On the morning of March 20th, Individual Lightning Lanes were sold out within minutes and the virtual queue filled up in seconds.

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror If we're talking about the scariest rides at Disney World, I had to start with The Tower of Terror. I mean, it's all in the name! From the ghostly holograms, the 'death' defying drop(s) to the sinister theming, everything is designed to scare the Mickey outta you – and it really does.

TRON is most similar to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster over at Hollywood Studios, which is also a catapult-launched, indoor coaster. TRON is by far the most intense coaster in the Magic Kingdom, although it doesn't have any loops or inversions.

The 6 pm virtual queue for TRON Lightcycle Run during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party has been filling up almost instantly. We're talking under 10 seconds for all of the parties thus far, which is fairly comparable to Extended Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom.

At all crowd levels, Flight of Passage sells out first. And Cosmic Rewind has worse availability than Rise of the Resistance on low and medium crowd days too. We also see many more availability “drops” throughout the day for Individual Lightning Lane attractions that we do for Genie+ attractions.

Yes. Guests who get a Boarding Group for TRON during regular hours are still eligible to enter the Virtual Queue at 6 p.m. on days when Extended Evening Hours are offered. If you get an Individual Lightning Lane too, this could give you three rides on TRON in a single day!

On the Disney Genie+ Service webpage that I linked, it does indicate that on average guests experience about two to three attractions per day with Lightening Lanes using Disney Genie+ Service. However, this is an average, and as long as you stay within the guidelines I mentioned above, you are good to go!
