Why is SunPass no longer accepted at MIA? As part of the airport's transition to an improved parking payment system, access to the airport's parking garages with SunPass was discontinued on January 1, 2022. Customers will soon be able to pay for parking inside the garage via self-service kiosks instead of at the collection plaza when they exit.

Sadly no retailers on MIA property sell the Sunpass. You could CAREFULLY exit the airport area and purchase one after your arrival, but do mind the MDX tolls that largely encircle MIA.
