Are Amtrak vouchers transferable?

Transportation vouchers are non-transferrable; the person named on the Transportation Voucher must be one of the passengers who is traveling. The name used in the reservation must exactly match the name indicated on the Transportation Voucher. Transportation Vouchers expire one year from the date they are issued.
