Are Disneyland fireworks Cancelled in the rain?

I've donned a poncho and watched Wishes and IllumiNations in the rain on several occasions. Fireworks -- or shows featuring fireworks such as Fantasmic! or Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular -- may be canceled or postponed if there are high winds or lightning. The safety of guests is always top priority.

Rain boots make the most amount of sense for a rainy day. But at least in my experience, rain boots aren't comfortable. Especially for all the walking you will be doing for a day wandering around the Park. So instead I suggest a pair of boots that will be able to be worn for more than just the rain.

Choosing the right footwear is important for a rainy day at the Disneyland Resort. Unless you don't mind wet and cold feet and socks, pick something that is both comfortable and waterproof. The obvious choice is a good pair of rainboots. Quite often I will wear heavier leather shoes.
