Are double strollers allowed in Disneyland?

I'm happy to report that double strollers are indeed allowed as long as they fit into the size requirements stated in the park rules. Currently, the requirements are that strollers be no larger than 31” in width and 52” in length. Stroller wagons are not allowed at this time.

I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that the single, jogging-style rental strollers have a recommended capacity of 50 pounds or less. In addition, the double, tandem-style strollers have a recommended capacity of 100 pounds or less.

Outside of the weight capacity problem (usually 40-45 lbs per seat), most 4-year-olds are too big (height-wise) for many of these stroller seats.
