they're both great, but i personally prefer the Epcot show. the MK fireworks are more traditional, and the view of the fireworks over Cindy's castle is spectacular. however, the Epcot fireworks are a little more different than what you normally see, and you are much closer to the action....
While Magic Kingdom has MORE attractions, EPCOT has some of the NEWEST attractions. Frozen Ever After, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have all been added to EPCOT more recently than any ride at Magic Kingdom.
We enjoyed it a lot more than anticipated. It's just a fireworks show, but it's a pretty good one. There is really no need to stake out a spot as you can view it from pretty much anywhere around the lagoon. We appreciated the nods to old school Epcot in the music.
