Are you allowed to swim at other Disney resorts?

Can I use the pool at a resort other than the one I'm staying at? Using another resort's pool is called, in Disney lingo, “pool-hopping” and it is generally not allowed.

In 2026, "pool hopping" at Walt Disney World remains strictly prohibited for the vast majority of guests. You are only permitted to use the pool at the specific resort where you are a registered guest. Disney enforces this through MagicBand scans and gated entries, particularly at high-demand pools like Stormalong Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club. There are a few rare exceptions: guests staying at the All-Star Resorts can use any of the three All-Star pools, and guests at Port Orleans (Riverside and French Quarter) can share pools. Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members occasionally have pool-hopping privileges, but these are often suspended during peak holiday periods or "blockout dates" when the pools reach maximum capacity.
