Can both parents manage kids on My Disney Experience?

Once you create your child's account in the My Disney Experience app, you become the manager of that account. Only one adult needs to create an account for the child, making multiple accounts may cause issues with redeeming Lightning Lanes and accessing existing travel plans.

First, log into your account online. Hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, then click My Family & Friends. Scroll down until you see the people you'd like to co-manage plans with, then click Update next to their name.

What's the Minimum Age? If your kid is under 13 this question is moot, because they aren't old enough to make their own account. As for your Family & Friends List, there is currently no maximum number of people you can be linked with on your My Disney Experience account! However, if you are travelling with a large group, it may be easier to make certain reservations by splitting the group into smaller sub-groups.

Eligible Employees receive a minimum of three (3) Main Entrance Guest Admissions. If the Employee has more than three (3) eligible dependents, the Employee may be permitted to admit more than three (3) Guests at a time.

To add your infant to your dining reservation, make sure to include them in your total party size count. Then, you can add your infant from your Friends & Family List. If your infant is not on your list, you can add them by scrolling down to Add a Guest. Enter their name and select infant for their age.

On your device, go to My Profile and choose Family & Friends List at the top. Scroll to the bottom of your list and select Add a Guest and then Scan their linking code. You'll be able to use your phone's camera to scan your wife's linking code. Once she accepts the invitation to connect, you should be all set.

Totally up to you to decide what you want to do. Disney doesn't consistently ask for proof of age for young kids, but they certainly can if they want to. I've heard reports of them innocently asking the child how old they are - which more often than not means you're busted! Your call if you want to take the chance.
