Can I add my Railcard to Trainline app? Add a Railcard On the ticket details screen, look for an option to add a Railcard. Tap on it, and a list of available Railcards will pop up.

Are railcards only digital now?
Most Railcards can be purchased online with the option to download as a digital Railcard to your smartphone or device with our Railcard App. Some 1-year Railcards can also be purchased at any National Rail staffed ticket office.
How do I link my Railcard to the app?
If you have already bought a digital Railcard, you should have received a 'digital Railcard Download code' on both the purchase confirmation page and by email. Once you've got this code, go to the Railcard app, tap on the '+' button in the top left of the screen and enter your code.
Does Trainline Digital Railcard work?
Yes. Although your Railcard will live in your Trainline App, it can still be used with tickets bought elsewhere.

You cannot swap a plastic Railcard to a digital Railcard. However, when the time comes to renew your Railcard you can do this online and choose to have a digital Railcard.

Yes, you can. Simply click 'Buy Now on the website homepage and follow the instructions on the screen. Please note that you will need to provide a valid passport or UK driving licence or EEA National Identity Card number to prove your date of birth and a digital passport-style photo.
How to use Railcard of Trainline on TrainPal?
Once you've purchased a Railcard using the TrainPal app, tap Download to store your Railcard on your device. After applying your Railcard to a booking, sign in to your account and show your Railcard to the train conductor when asked.
