Can I buy tobacco at Disney?

There are two products that I can think of that you cannot buy inside the theme parks. The first is chewing gum and the second is tobacco products. You will need to purchase those before you arrive at a grocery store, convenience store, or wherever you get them normally.

As of 2026, you cannot buy tobacco products inside any Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park. In alignment with their commitment to a family-friendly and "smoke-free" environment, Disney removed tobacco sales from the parks several years ago. If you are a guest looking for cigarettes, cigars, or vaping products, you must visit select locations in Disney Springs (in Florida) or the Downtown Disney District (in California), where third-party retailers occasionally stock these items. Additionally, most "off-site" convenience stores and gas stations located just outside the resort property lines carry a full selection of tobacco. It is also important to remember that smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the theme parks, water parks, and the esplanades. Smoking is only permitted in very limited "Designated Smoking Areas" located outside the main entrance gates. If you are caught smoking in a Disney Resort hotel room or on a balcony, you will be assessed a significant "room recovery fee" (typically $250 to $500) to cover the cost of deep-cleaning the textiles.
