Can I quit the Disney College Program?

Will my cancellation affect my future with The Walt Disney Company? As long as you let us know ahead of time, we can cancel your program. You are welcome to apply for other positions within the company, including another Disney College Program (as long as you still meet eligibility requirements).

After leaving the program, participants are invited to join the Alumni Association and receive special information and items. If your child has not received this invitation, they may sign up here. They are also invited to apply for Alumni-Only Disney Professional Internships and other roles within the organization.

You will be paid at least minimum wage at your work site. While the pay is modest, you will be given perks such as free admission into the parks, discounts on food and merchandise you buy while in the parks.

Eligibility. Students must be enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in a School of Culinary Arts, or enrolled in a culinary/baking and pastry school or have graduated within 24 months of the application posting date.

You get to go to the parks for FREE. You'll also get complimentary tickets for every 150 hours worked, so you can bring your friends and family who aren't Cast Members into the parks as well! Oh, and you'll also get some pretty nice discounts at the merchandise shops and restaurants.

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. What you cancelled was the NEXT renewal. You will get to keep using the subscription through the period that you already paid for.

Students who become part of the program can choose to live in Disney-owned housing complexes near the resorts, with rent payments taken directly from the students' pay for working at the parks.

Generally, Disney College Program participants, with the exception of those in WDWCP Flex H/H (Hopper) positions, are not permited to transfer positions unless they extend into another program. However, if you are having difficulties in your current position, you should speak with a Guest Show Manager in your area.
