Can I take a corkscrew on Eurostar?

That's incorrect. On an air trip, sharps wouldn't be allowed in carry-on baggage. Eurostar doesn't have a cargo hold. Sharps such a Swiss Army knife; a corkscrew, scissors and a nail clipper are fine.
