Can I take my family to airport lounge with my credit card?

Many of us hold credit cards (including priority pass) for free acces to domestic and international lounges. Your spouse and parents are also able to access these lounges using their cards or as an add-on to your card. But banks don't issue credit cards or add-on cards to kids below 18 years.

People Also Ask

Can someone else utilise my airport lounge credit card? No, the primary cardholder can only use the airport credit card. Even the lounge will scrutinise the cardholder's name for ensuring safety and security. However, there are certain credit cards which allow family members to get the privilege of the lounge.

MORE DETAILS

No. The only person who can access the lounge is the person named on the eligible Mastercard payment card. For security reasons, the lounge will verify the name of the cardholder against their boarding pass and their identification card / passport.

Memberships are not transferrable to other people, though, so the member must accompany any guests. Lounges may not limit the number of guests a member can bring, and each guest may cost a fee per visit; however, a lounge may deny entry if it reaches its capacity.

As a general rule, the more you travel, the more you're going to want to be spending on the annual fee for your Priority Pass. Lounge Pass works in a completely different way. Rather than splashing out on an annual fee, you pay-as-you-go, purchasing a new pass every time you want to visit a lounge.

If your same-day outbound flight departs after the lounge closes for the day, we will admit you as early as 3 hours prior to the lounge closing, subject to available capacity. Select lounges may allow access to eligible Card Members with a confirmed reservation for any same-day travel (departure or arrival).
