You can upgrade a standard "1-Park Per Day" ticket to a "Park Hopper" at any time before it is fully used. This can be done at the Main Entrance ticket booths, at a Disney Resort hotel front desk, or sometimes through the Disneyland app by modifying your plans. You will be required to pay the flat-rate Park Hopper add-on fee, which applies to the total duration of the ticket, not just the remaining days.
