You can use Capital One Venture miles to fly on Delta, but you cannot transfer them directly to Delta SkyMiles because Delta is not an official Capital One transfer partner in 2026. Instead, you have two primary workarounds. First, you can book a Delta flight using your Venture card and then use the "Cover Travel Purchases" feature (the Purchase Eraser) to "erase" the cost from your statement at a value of 1 cent per mile. Second, you can transfer your miles to one of Delta's SkyTeam partners that is a Capital One partner, such as Air France-KLM Flying Blue or Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Once the miles are in those partner accounts, you can use them to book "award" flights on Delta-operated routes, provided there is partner availability. This second method often provides much better value (sometimes 2 cents per mile or more), but it requires more effort to find available award seats. In 2026, the flexibility of Venture miles remains high, but Delta loyalists have to be a bit more strategic than American Express users.
