Can I use euro in Billund?

You can use Danish kroner (DKK) and Euro (We only receive Euro notes, however not 500 Euro notes) at Hotel LEGOLAND®. If you pay in cash using Euro notes you will receive change in Danish kroner.

Generally speaking, no. Credit cards are accepted practically everywhere and I haven't used any cash myself for a couple of years, if I remember correctly. BUT, there is typically a fee for using foreign issued credit cards of around 2.75% and up to over 6.0%, so that is something to take into account.

Come on Saturdays Saturday is changeover day in the summer houses and therefore we typically have fewer guests in LEGOLAND on weekends during our high season. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically our busiest days.

Towels are available for purchase within the Water Park at the Surf Shop and at Brick Brothers. Towels are not provided, and you're welcome to bring your own if you'd like!

You can eat at the skyline lounge inside the hotel regardless of if you are staying there. Technically you can eat at the shipwreck place (awesome dinner, huge portions) even if you aren't staying there. They don't ask for a room number.

We also felt the park felt fresher and better maintained than Windsor, despite being older. I am not sure we would feel two days in Windsor worthwhile, but I would certainly recommend two in Billund. If you are a Lego fan who fancies a change, I would thoroughly recommend heading to Legoland Billund.

We waited until our kids were 8 and 10, which seems to be the perfect age to appreciate Legoland (including MiniLand) and be able to ride all the rides.
