Can I wear a fanny pack on Disneyland rides?

Hi Emily, While all bags will be searched by security when you first arrive at the theme parks, I'm happy to let you know that you'll be able to bring small bags with you on all of the attractions!

If it's small enough on many of Disney's rides you don't even need to take your purse off, which is a plus cause you'll never lose it. Or if you're a minimalist, like me, use a fanny pack or bum bag.

You can even wear it on rides. A fanny pack is still considered a “bag,” so you will still need to go through the bag check line when entering any theme park or water park, but rest assured your fanny pack will be welcome!

I've worn both. I wear fanny packs/bumbags as sling bags - they will usually have you remove a fanny pack if it's actually around your waist, for a ride (they'll have you remove a backpack as well, or any bag that is between you and a lap bar). It's really not inconvenience though.
