Can someone else use your Disney band?

Once a MagicBand has been linked to a person's profile, it remains linked to them and can be reused in the future with any new tickets or reservations linked to that account. A MagicBand cannot be reassigned to a different person.

First do a quick check of the surrounding area and any bags you might be carrying to make sure it's really gone. Next Deactivate the Magic Band (directions are just below). This prevents anyone from using it for any purpose. You can turn it back on later if it is found.

The most current Disneyland Magic Key Terms and Conditions state that the Magic Key pass is nontransferable, and you will not be able to change the annual pass to someone else's name. REUSE THEM If you've customized one of your bands or grown partial to a special edition band you purchased, you can reuse a band from a previous trip. Generally, the battery life of MagicBands is between 2-5 years, though the MagicBand+ may last longer because they are rechargeable.

There are a few things that you can do with your MagicBand (or ticket card or Key to the World card) that you can't do with MagicMobile. The ones we know about are: You can scan into theme park parking with MagicMobile, but you can't use it to raise the gate at the parking lot of your resort.

It is perfectly acceptable to reuse an old MagicBand on your next trip. The official word from Walt Disney World is that the battery life of a band is expected to be about 2 years. However, I personally have older ones that are still going strong! So, bring your MagicBands and try it!

In Disney World, more often than not, the child has not gone far from the place where you were separated. However, if the parent cannot be located, the Cast Member will escort the child to the designated Lost Children area. They will wait for you there.
