In 2026, the rules for Delta Sky Club access are more restrictive than in previous years. Having Platinum Medallion status alone does not grant you automatic entry to the lounge on domestic flights. To enter, you must either be traveling in a "Delta One" cabin (domestic or international) or be flying in "Delta Premium Select" on an international itinerary. If you are flying in the main cabin, you must have an additional "credential" such as the American Express Platinum Card or the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Card. However, even cardholders are now subject to "visit limits"; standard Amex Platinum members receive 10 visits per year unless they spend $75,000 annually to unlock unlimited access. If you are a Platinum Medallion member traveling internationally in a qualifying cabin, you are permitted one guest, but both must be on the same-day Delta-operated flight. Simply holding the "Platinum" status tier is no longer a "golden ticket" for lounge entry without a specific premium ticket or a high-end credit card.
