Can you bring floaties to a resort?

Most resorts let you bring in your own floatie's.. We usually buy a few cheapie ones in Cancun to use because of the weight of the plastic floats in your suitcase. Last trip (Punta Cana) we brought two from home and put them in our carry-on bag. At the end of our trip we past them on to people we met at the resort..

An unapproved devices can slide off, pop, or float a child face down. Water wings can actually slide off and even trap a drowning child underwater. With any device a child can easily float away and into deep water.
