Can you bring tobacco into Disney?

For the comfort of all Guests, Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex are smoke free. The smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes or other products that produce a vapor or smoke is allowed only in designated outdoor smoking areas.

You are allowed to bring tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, and chewing tobacco) and vaping devices into Disney World and Disneyland, but you are strictly prohibited from using them inside the theme parks. Since May 2019, all U.S. Disney theme parks, water parks, and the Downtown Disney/Disney Springs districts have been entirely smoke-free. To use tobacco or electronic smoking devices, you must exit the park gates and use the designated smoking areas located outside the entrances. Security will not confiscate these items during the bag check, but if a Cast Member catches you smoking or vaping inside the park—including in bathrooms or "quiet" corners—you will be politely but firmly asked to stop and move outside the gates. Repeat offenses can result in removal from the park without a refund. For those staying at Disney Resort hotels, smoking and vaping are only permitted in specific outdoor designated areas; smoking in guest rooms or on balconies will result in a "room recovery fee" of $250 to $500. Most savvy travelers recommend using nicotine patches or gum to avoid the inconvenience of leaving the park multiple times a day.
