Can you buy ferry tickets in Split?

If you come to Split, first thing to do when you arrive to Split, go buy tickets in ferry. There are two companies, Jadrolinija and Krilo ticket shops are ~150m one from another. In Split you can buy tickets only on the day of departure and in Hvar you can buy tickets a day before.

Tickets can be purchased at the main office of Jadrolinija, the main ferry carrier in Croatia. Office is located within the large ferry terminal opposite the bus terminal that runs all services departing from the docks around the terminal, or at one of the kiosks on Gat Sv. Duje pier.

Useful info: keep in mind that the ferries departing Split for Hvar are passenger-only catamarans. In case you want to travel with your car to Hvar, we recommend taking the Jadrolinija car ferry from Split to the port of Stari Grad (30 minutes by car from Hvar Town).
